The Laws of Positioning®
The Well-Positioned Human Being is based upon the 105 Laws of Positioning®. I’m often asked why there are 105 and not a nice round number, such as 50, or perhaps 100.
The answer is simple. As I began working on creating a list of the laws, my initial research came up with 100 ideas that I believed were universal enough to be considered “laws.” As a result, I came up with a nice alphabetized list of 100 laws.
As I began incorporating the Laws of Positioning® into my writings, I came to realize there were a few ideas I had inadvertently left out. It became necessary for me to add 5 more “laws” to the list. Perhaps more will be added in the future, but at present the list stops at 105 laws.
This book is intended to expand upon each of the 105 laws and to assist you, the reader, as you attempt to become a “well-positioned human being.” Before we proceed further, I believe it would be helpful to provide a few definitions.
A rule or principle of proper conduct sanctioned by conscience
To put in a particular or appropriate place
If you notice, the Laws of Positioning® refers to “positioning” as a verb, not a noun. “Positioning” requires you to take action. The Laws of Positioning® is, in actuality, a way of living; one that is intended to make the world a better place for all of its inhabitants.
