Thanks. I did a bunch of redesign changes this past weekend.

I'm starting to get a lot better at figuring out how to change elements of my Wordpress theme.

I fully agree that our minds are our biggest obstacle and once we take control of our minds rather than allow our minds to control us, we can be bigger than who we think we are.

We are not the mind, body or anything other than the soul. Remember that we are 3 people: the one that we think we are i.e. the body, the one that others think we are i.e. the mind and the ones that we really are i.e. the soul. We are eternal beings, full and complete. When we allow our minds to control us, we feel weak, small, fat, big, stupid. When we take control of our minds, we can tell our mind what we really are.

Your points are very valid. I agree that we are our biggest obstacle again.

Conquer yourself and the world is conquered.

Garrett,

You are absolutely correct. It all builds and builds and builds. The more decisions you make, the better you get good at it. The whole trick is to learn to deal with fear. We can't let fear hold us back

Yes, Jim Stovall is quite the guy. He was incredibly gracious and very nice to me when I met with him.

I hope you signed up for my RSS feed or Email feed so that you can keep up with the blog. Good stuff is added pretty much every day.

Take care and be sure and tell your friends about this site.

What you were saying about successful people being those who take very quick action really resonates with me. For me, creating my own website was something that really helped me to foster quick and efficient decision making, which is required if one is to take quick action in any endeavor. Anytime we take on a challenge that requires a lot of action steps, we help ourselves to develop the skills that we can then use to take on even greater challenges. As we take on greater and greater challenges, we become exposed to more and more opportunities to leave a lasting impression on the world.

And the story about the blind man.... all I have to say about that is, WOW.

Hi Stanley,

Great topic on Achievement IQ and I totally agree about what you've discussed. It certainly is true about succesful people seize the moment when an opportunity comes across them rather than those inviduals lying around. I havent had a chance but I look forward to browse your site in further detail.

P.S Thanks and I did get your message from Self Growth.

Cheers my friend,
Richard

You are correct Alex. One of the greatest benefits I received from the nationwide driving tour I made a few months back, where I interviewed 80 highly successful people for my upcoming book, is that I now have 80 stories that I can tell.

Stories are powerful and they get our attention. The most powerful stories are ones that illustrate key points.

I definitely agree with you that people want to learn through stories, rather than just speaking at them. I've noticed this in my own writing, stories always get a better response. When I share the stories of my life, people tend to want to get to know me better, or not, but they sure keep on reading.
