Vision Quest Project - Day 4 - REPORT
by Stanley Bronstein on June 13, 2008
A winner knows how much he still has to learn, even when he is considered an expert by others. A loser wants to be considered an expert by others, before he has learned enough to know how much he does not know. (Sydney J. Harris)
Current Status Report
Day 4 was a piece of cake. My stomach continues to shrink and my hunger has just about disappeared.
I’ve definitely built up a nice bit of momentum.
Officially, this has now become the second longest fast I’ve ever done. I won’t break my record until the end of Day 8.
What Was The Hardest Part Of Day Four?
Actually, nothing was that tough. I’m not complaining.
What Are Some Of The Things I Did Today?
Sauna - I spent 2 nice, long sessions in the sauna and meditated in a very private environment.
Meditation - I meditated 3 times today
Swimming - I went swimming once.
Work - I did a lot of writing today. I did a bunch of legal work too.
Movies - I watched 1 movie and a couple of other DVDs.
Cleaning - I did quite a bit of cleaning in the garage.
What Did I Eat Today?
Nothing, but I did chew some gum.
What Did I Drink Today?
Purified water. That’s it. Lots and lots of purified water.
How Do I Feel?
I feel great. I’m ready to hit the sack, but I feel great.
Making Life Changes
FIRST, I RECOMMEND THAT YOU CONSULT WITH YOUR OWN DOCTOR BEFORE YOU TAKE ANY ACTION, SUCH AS A FAST. I AM NOT A DOCTOR AND I AM NOT GIVING ANY MEDICAL ADVICE. IF YOU DECIDE TO FAST OR TAKE ANY OTHER ACTION, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK, WHICH IS WHY I RECOMMEND YOU SPEAK WITH A MEDICAL DOCTOR BEFORE TAKING ANY ACTION.
Once again, I’d like to remind our readers that this is NOT just my Vision Quest Project. It can be yours too. I’m not saying you need to fast, BUT if there is anything you want to work on, join us. You can lend me moral support and encouragement during my Vision Quest and our other readers (and myself), will lend you the moral support and encouragement during your Vision Quest.
I know of a few people who have joined me. I want to get more people signed up.
Do you want to quit smoking? - Now’s the time.
Do you want to lose weight? - Now’s the time.
Do you want to start exercising? - Now’s the time.
Do you want to start a program of meditation? - Now’s the time.
Do you want to quit drinking? - Now’s the time.
What’s the message? - Now’s the time !!!
Until next time, take care, my dear friends.Mr. Achievement

Sounds like you are getting through your fast well. I’m still hanging in there. This day has been a little rough, but I made it through. Lots of water and gum.

Nancy:
Quitting smoking is not easy, but something tells me you’re going to do just fine.
Hang in there.
