Success Quote Of The Day - 03/06/2008

by Stanley Bronstein on March 6, 2008

Blessed is the person who is too busy to worry in the daytime and too sleepy to worry at night.

– Leo Aikman

Blessings are special favors or benefits that are bestowed upon people that usually bring happiness.

Worry is the process of tormenting oneself with troubling thoughts, uneasiness or anxiety.

Busy is the process of being actively engaged in work or a pastime. A busy person is one who remains occupied.

In the above quote, Leo Aikman suggests that people who are so occupied with their work or pastimes during the day are blessed, because they are probably too occupied to worry during the daytime. He also suggests that by staying occupied during the day, they are equally blessed, because they will be so tired at night, that they will drift right off to sleep, and thus avoid the opportunity to worry during the nighttime.

One person who has successfully done this is Charlie “Tremendous” Jones. Charlie has been featured in this blog several times previously. I keep coming back to him, because he really does a tremendous job of illustrating the points I am making. In the video shown below, Charlie talks about letting your mind control your body. If your mind tells your body not to worry, you won’t worry. It’s just that simple.

Charlie “Tremendous” Jones is one of the persons who wil be featured in my upcoming book:
