Opportunity Is Everywhere If You Look For It

Opportunity Is Everywhere, IF You Look For It.
Opportunity – A situation or condition favorable for the attainment of a goal.
Everywhere – In all places.
Look – To direct attention or consideration toward something.
Study This Picture For A Moment

This is a picture of my leg yesterday afternoon right after I walked past a type of desert cactus commonly referred as “jumping” cholla.
As you can see from the picture, the cholla “jumped” onto my leg and attached itself quite well
Before you get worried, I’m okay now. All it took was a pair of pliers and a good “rip” to pull it out of my leg. The damage is minimal (but it still sting a little bit).
What’s The Point Behind This Picture?
The point is that all living creatures (yes, even plants) are constantly looking for opportunity.
One of the ways the cholla plant propagates itself is to attach itself to anything mobile that happens to be going past it.
This cholla was sitting on the ground, waiting for opportunity to come walking by.
When I came walking by, it quite literally “jumped” at the chance to hitch a ride.
The point of today’s meditation is to suggest to you that you should “open your eyes” and look for opportunities in ways you’ve probably never considered in the past. You’ll be glad you did.
