NOW Is What You Deal With - THE PAST Is What You Learn From

by Stanley Bronstein on August 17, 2008

Taking a slight “break” for a day or two over the weekend before we get back to The Art of War on Monday.

NOW - What Is Now?

Now - At the present time or moment.  At this time or juncture in some period under consideration.  In these presents times.  Under the present or existing circumstances.

The PAST - What Is The Past?

Past - Of, having existed in, or having occurred during a time previous to the present; bygone.  Gone by just before the present time.   The time gone by.

DEALING - What Is Dealing?

Dealing -  Conduct in relation to others; treatment.  The act of occupying oneself.  The taking of action with respect to a thing or person.  The act of being able to handle oneself competently or successfully.

What Do I Think ?

I personally think there is no limit WHATSOEVER to what we as individuals and teams can accomplish.

I ALSO think that we as humans can deal with practically anything.

So What Are You Focusing On?

That’s what this posting is ALL about.  What are you focusing on?  Are you focusing on NOW, THE PRESENT, or are you focusing on the past.

IF you focus on the past, you will become trapped in the past.  IF you focus on NOW, THE PRESENT, you can move forward.

I like to talk about being focused, but YOU have to decide what you are going to focus on.

Yes! Present is a present. Your article reminded me of Dr. Spencer Johnson’s book. “The Present” :)
