The Beginning
To Remove A Mountain,
Begin By Carrying Away Small Stones

Now that I have your attention, it is time to begin. There is an ancient, very wise saying: To remove a mountain, begin by carrying away small stones. This suggests the best way to accomplish a large, apparently impossible task, such as removing a mountain, is to break it down into small, manageable steps (carrying away small stones).
At first, writing this book seemed to be a monumental task. It was only when I broke the process down into smaller steps that I was able to get a grasp on how to go about writing this book. I divided it into 67 chapters, based on 67 ideas that I had accumulated over the past several years. Once I grasped the task, beginning was much easier: I simply wrote the first chapter. Once done, I wrote the second chapter, and so on. At the end of 67 chapters, the task of writing the book was complete.
Think of a task you have accomplished which seemed impossible.

Every time you read a chapter of this book and contemplate the concepts contained therein, you are moving a little bit closer toward finding your purpose in life and achieving it. Your personal mountain is getting smaller and smaller. All you have to do is keep “chipping” away.
