Quote #1 - What Is It Suggesting?

It suggests to me just how wonderful it is to have reliability in your life. It suggests it by giving an example of the animals in our lives. After all, most pets (dogs, cats, etc.) tend to be so loyal. They are just grateful to have you around and they would never do anything to hurt you. They constantly give love and they are non-judgmental.

My wife sees a perfect example of this all the time as she takes our dogs to nursing homes weekly to visit elderly residents. These residents often have nobody to visit them and nobody seems to care about their well-being. It is amazing to see how the residents will brighten up when our dogs go up to them. The dogs give their love to these residents and they give it freely.

In short, the dogs are reliable. They are trustworthy. They are dependable. They are consistent.

They do what it takes and they do it freely.  They don’t hold back.

You can count on our dogs (and most other pets) to be loving.

Joy - The emotion of great delight or happiness caused by something exceptionally good or satisfying; keen pleasure; elation. See Law #58 - Position Yourself To Be Joyful.

Pride - A pleasure or satisfaction taken in something done by or belonging to oneself or believed to reflect credit upon oneself.

Done - Completed; finished; through. Accomplished.

As Well As You Can - To the maximum degree, amount or extent of which you are capable.

Quote #2 - What Is It Suggesting?

It talks about the importance of reliability when it comes to motivating ourself.

Specifically, the says the only motivations that we can truly count on; that we can truly depend on; are the ones that come from inside of us.

In other words, we have to motivate ourselves.

That is why it is so important that whatever it is we chose to do in our lives is something we are passionate about. After all, if we’re not passionate, we’re not going to have that internal fire necessary to provide the reliable motivations needed by all successful people.

Reliability Has Many Facets

Reliability has many facets and it affects us in many different ways. However, the one thing all those facets have in common is the trust factor. When something or someone is reliable, it allows us to let go and make things happen. Our guard can come down, as we don’t have to worry about being let down by ourselves or someone else.

Reliability is very powerful. Make sure that others in your life can count on you and even more importantly, make sure you can count on yourself.

Hi Stanley,

Great post mate. It all comes down to reality doesn’t it. We should be more like nature.

Every day the sun comes up and sets reliably, every moment plants exchange carbon dioxide for oxygen reliably, and we can almost never get reliable customer service anymore.

If we chose to deliver, reliably, like nature does, how could that impact lives, businesses and bottom lines.

Have a great day,

20/20:

It’s like a always say. If you want to follow a “pure” definition of success (i.e. how well you accomplished your goals), my dogs are some of the most successful people I know.

Here, here to our canine examples! I also think dogs must have very positive inner voices. They don’t seem to spend much of their day worrying about what might have been or things they should have done. To be good motivators of ourselves, our inner voices should have a positive, reassuring and hope-filled ring. Otherwise, who among us wants to listen to them!

Dogs and cats are “almost” always EXCELLENT examples of behavior.
