Law #80 - Position Yourself To Be Prosperous

Law #80
Position Yourself To Be Prosperous
QUOTE # 1 - If you see yourself as prosperous, you will be. If you see yourself as continually hard up, that is exactly what you will be. (Robert Collier)
QUOTE #2 - When I chased after money, I never had enough. When I got my life on purpose and focused on giving of myself and everything that arrived into my life, then I was prosperous. (Wayne Dyer)
Definitions - Quote #1
See - To accept or imagine or suppose as acceptable. To perceive (things) mentally; discern; understand. To construct a mental image of; visualize.
Yourself - Your normal or customary self.
Prosperous - Having or characterized by financial success or good fortune; flourishing; successful. Favorable or propitious.
Will Be - Disposed or willing to take place or happen. Expect or required to take place or happen. May be expected or supposed to take place or happen.

Hard Up - Feeling a lack or need. Urgently in need of money. In great perplexity or difficulty; at a loss.
Exactly - Precisely; accurately. In every respect; just. Quite so; that’s right.
What Is Quote #1 Suggesting?
If suggests something that is found through the 100 Laws of Positioning. Whatever you envision in your life is exactly what will happen. If you see yourself as a failure, you will fail. If you see yourself as a success, you will succeed.
THAT IS WHY WE NEED TO PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT WE TELL OURSELVES AND TO WHAT WE TELL OUR CHILDREN.
If we believe we are prosperous, we will be prosperous. It really is that simple. Your mind listens to everything you think and everything you say. If you tell the universe that you are already prosperous, it will believe you and send more prosperity your way.
Definitions - Quote #2

Focus(ed) - A central point, as of attraction, attention, or activity. The state of maximum distinctness or clarity of such an image.
Giving - To present voluntarily and without expecting compensation.
Myself - My normal or customary self.
Everything - Every thing or particular of an aggregate or total; all. Something that is extremely or most important.
Arrived - To come to a certain point in the course of travel; reach one’s destination. To attain a position of success, power, achievement, fame, or the like.
What Is Quote #2 Suggesting?
It is suggesting that if you chase after what you want, you’ll probably never get it. That’s because things need to come to you, rather than be grabbed after.
If you will learn to just sit back and wait for things to come to you, you’ll be surprised about what comes to you.
I know, it’s a hard concept. BUT, it ties into all of the other 100 Laws of Positioning. Just sit back, relax and know that you are positioned to be ready. It will ALL come to you.
So What Do You Need To Do?
The number #1 thing you need to do is relax. Sit back and let things come to you. Let things happen. In my experience, that is absolutely the hardest thing we all need to learn. Sit back, be patient, let stuff happen.
If you will simply tell yourself that you are prosperous beyond your imagination, guess what? That’s exactly what you will be.
Until next time, take care, my dear friends.Mr. Achievement

Stanley: I know it is a paradoxical to be ‘cool’ about what you are pursuing; but life in itself is a paradox. Isn’t it? I’ve seen the 2nd quote come true in my life. I never pursued money (for its own sake), but I had enough whenever the situation demanded.

Joseph:
One of the things I’ve ALWAYS noticed in my life is that any time I needed money, it just mysteriously showed up from some source (sometimes expected, sometimes unexpected).
To me, it is NOT paradoxical at all to be cool about what you are doing, but I understand the point you are making.
I think we all need to find what we like to do and relax and let it happen . . .

Nothing has meaning unless I give meaning to it. We have our own fair shares of learning from great books, wonderful mentors and fabulous seminars but the question is how much did we take to heart to actually practice the big idea(s) on a daily basis.
A lack of money is never the problem because the root cause is us. We create our life and we create our financial successes or failures in one way or another.
Quote 1: How to do anything wholeheartedly when deep down we believe we are doomed before starting.
Quote 2: The universe is benevolent and the law of attraction works. Ask and you shall receive, give and you will get even more. I started seeing the truth in recent years.

Vivienne:
Quote #1 - You will create whatever you believe in. I don’t believe we are doomed unless we believe we are doomed. Personally I believe the world has unlimited potential and good stuff is in the process of happening.
Quote #2 - The Law of Attraction works, BUT it’s only part of the picture. If all we do is sit on our rear ends on our couches and wait to attract stuff, we’re going to be waiting a long time. We have to have VISION, READINESS and ACTION.
We have to see the opportunities. We have to be ready to act upon them and we have to actually act upon them.
These are things that I suspect you already know.
Please stick around as I’d love to hear more of your thoughts.

Quote #1 is the self-fulfilling prophecy at work. The universe is neutral. It gives us what we ask for and expect.
Quote #2 reminds me of the saying that chasing a butterfly doesn’t work. But if you remain still the butterfly will come and rest gently on your shoulder.
Neither of these means that we must sit idly by twiddling our thumbs. We are to go about our activities pursuing our goals, following our dreams and making good choices. Believing and visualizing our good will direct us and attract that good to us.

Flora:
Good to have you back.
As for Quote #1 and the universe being neutral, I actually believe it wants to help us. I believe it is our friend.
As for Quote #2, you are so correct. Can’t sit around twiddling our thumbs (but chasing butterflies can be fun sometimes).
