Position Yourself To Be Powerful
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others. (Marianne Williamson)

That’s A Heavy Duty Quote !
It sure is, but that’s why I picked it. Never in my life have I heard a more inspiring; more truthful quote. I think Marianne Williamson said it all and did it all when she wrote that quote. It is beautiful, beyond measure.
This quote is all about limited beliefs and the POWER WE CAN ACHIEVE IF WE GET RID OF THEM!
After all, it suggests that are greatest fears are not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure.
Each and every one of us has the power within us to be great. To be awesome. To be magnificent. To be fabulous. All we have to do is believe it.
As I like to say: Believe in yourself; your abilities; your talents and your ideas.
After all, limiting ourselves does nothing to serve the world. It helps no one.
Lastly, the quote suggests that once you learn to open up and liberate yourself, you are providing an example to others around you. Once you have empowered yourself to achieve, you are automatically authorizing others around you to do exactly the same thing.
That’s what Achievement IQ and the Laws of Positioning are all about. My goal is to automatically authorize you to open up and realize your full potential.
Power And Positivity
Peace Pilgrim wrote: If you realized how powerful your thoughts are; you would never think a negative thought.
That is so true. Our thoughts create who we are. Our thoughts create our reality. If we think negative thoughts, we will create a negative reality. If we think positive thoughts, we will create a positive reality.
For more info on the subject of positivity, see Law #76 – Position Yourself To Be Positive.
So I ask, what are you thinking right now? Are you thinking something positive? Hopefully the fact you are reading this blog post is encouraging positive thoughts in your head.
Some Say Power Is A Bad Thing. Is It?
Personally, I do NOT believe power, in and of itself is EVER a bad thing. The improper use of power can be a bad thing.
Power is merely the ability to get something done. To accomplish something. To achieve something.
What determines whether power is good or bad depends on what you chose to do with that power. What are you going to chose to get done? What are you choosing to accomplish? What are you choosing to achieve?
My job is to help you find the power within you. Your job is to figure out what to do with that power.

Ah…..one of my most favorite quotes!
What a challenge it is for many of us woman who were taught at an early age
to do well, but don’t be too “pushy”…..translated to powerful…
Moving beyond that mentality to feeling confident about moving forward and speaking out and being visible makes all the difference in giving all our gifts to the world.

Suzanne:
It’s all about believing in yourself, your abilities, your talents and your ideas.
Like everything in life, it requires balance. Moving forward, speaking out and being visible are just parts of the “high wire” balancing act.
