What Is This Quote Suggesting?

It is suggesting several things:

  • If we sit around and do nothing, we will not only feel powerful, but we will in fact, be powerless.
  • If you will actually BOTHER to get involved, all sorts of opportunities will open up before you and things will begin to happen.
  • The reason you begin to feel as if things will being to happen before your very eyes is because you know you are working in the right direction and you are working toward making POSITIVE things happen.

So Where Do We Go From Here?

No matter what, we proceed forward, IN A POSITIVE MANNER. We work hard to make sure that positive things happen all around us.

That’s what being INVOLVED is all about.

INVOLVED means that you are paying attention to what is going on around you and you assert yourself, as appropriate along the way.

IF you want to be involved, that’s what it takes. You can’t ignore things. Instead, you need to pay attention to what is going on around you and assert yourself accordingly.

That is a good thing, trust me.

What Does It Take To Be Involved?

Being involved is simple.  All you have to do is decide that you want to be involved.  By deciding that you want to be involved, you will set many things in motion, almost all of which are positive.

Such a simple decision, YET, most of us are afraid to make it.

Why is that so?

Why Are People Afraid To Be Involved?

I’m not sure, but I believe it is because people are afraid of consequences.  People, as a rule, like certainty.  They like to know what is going to happen and when  it is going to happen.

However, I’m asking more from you than that.

Shame on me, but I have the guts to ask more from  you than what is generally expected.

What Will Happen Because I Am Asking More Of You?

A funny thing is going to happen.  Just because I ask more of you, I will wind up getting more from you.

It’s a strange thing.  People are afraid to ask for more and people are afraid to give more.

WELL, GUESS WHAT ?  I’m not afraid to ask for more and I’m going to CONSTANTLY ask for more from you than you ever dreamed was imaginable.

It’s simple.  If I ask for more, I will get more.

So What Am I Suggesting?

I’m suggesting that we should ALL ask for more from others, BUT EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY - we should ask for more from ourselves.

Ir we would all stop for a moment and ask ourselves to become MORE INVOLVED, the world would be a better place.

Assuming that’s what we all want, then what is the problem.    Ask for more from others around you and ask for more from yourself.  I promise you the world will be a better place as a result.

Until next time, take care, my dear friends.

Getting involved is important. I’ve been neglecting to get involved with important topics on my own blog because of the controversy it stirs up. Of course, that has all changed now. Thanks for stirring the pot.
