Law #44
Position Yourself To Be Great
Everybody can be great because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and verb agree to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love. (Martin Luther King, Jr.)

What Was It That Dr. King Was Suggesting?
He touched upon some really great points, all of which I happen to agree with.
- Everyone has the potential to be great.
- The seed of greatness lies within all of us.
- The way to unlock that potential and to cultivate the seed of greatness within each of us is through a life of service.
- Service is something that each of us can do in our own unique way, no matter the level of our abilities.
- You don’t have to be highly educated in order to serve.
- All it takes to be of service is to have a kind spirit, an inner beauty that is based upon passion, enthusiasm and a genuine affection for others around you and for the world itself.
The Beauty Behind TRUE Greatness
Whenever you hear me speak or write about greatness, please bear in mind that I’m talking about true / genuine greatness. All too often these days, people can achieve “greatness” in the form of money, notoriety, attention, etc., but they may or may not be deserving.
To me, someone who is truly and genuinely great is someone who does it in the manner described above by Dr. King. Their heart is in it. Their passion is in it. AND, they are doing it all to be of service to others.
There is nothing wrong with making money along the way, or achieving fame along the way, AS LONG AS your motives say pure and you remain true and genuine. As long as your main motive is to help others, then it’s okay if you wind up helping yourself at the same time.
What Can You Do To Cultivate Greatness In Your Life?
Start by being of service to others. Find a cause. Find something you’re passionate about. Then, throw yourself into that and help others.
Because, you will discover that the more you give, the more you will get (see Law #42 - Position Yourself To Be Generous).
Furthermore, as you cultivate the spirit of greatness within yourself, you will share it with others and cultivate the spirit of greatness within them.
Until next time, take care, my dear friends.Mr. Achievement

Hi Stanley,
Thanks again for a great post mate.
“The way to unlock that potential and to cultivate the seed of greatness within each of us is through a life of service.”
Service is just good business. Go the extra mile with your clients, honestly care about their lives and experiences, especially when it comes to the services you offer, develop a non profit side of your business, find a way to give, give, give… and you can’t help but become great.
I appreciate your SERVICE in providing these articles, they impact my daily life, and the lives of countless others too, I am sure.
Take care mate,

Thanks again Mr. Twenty Twenty (you must have clear vision with a name like that . . .)
The thing I really liked about the quote was that it suggested ANYONE can (and should) be of service.
