It is currently 12:58 AM on Saturday, August 27, 2005. I am so excited I can hardly stand it. I do not want to sleep. I had to write this down while it was fresh on my mind. After working so hard over the past thirty years, things are FINALLY starting to happen and I have to write these things down NOW !!!
Everything is falling into place. I have been fortunate enough to surround myself with talented, good people who believe in me and what I am trying to accomplish. It has NOT been easy and there have been “bumps” along the way, but everything I desire is unfolding right before my eyes.
I would like to think that I have done many things right over that thirty year period, but I also realize I have made many mistakes. The one thing I have done, over and over, is that I have refused to let any of these mistakes stop me from accomplishing my goals. I am here to suggest that you should not let the fact that you are human; the fact that you have made and will make mistakes stop you from accomplishing your goals.
The plain, simple, fact is that now is the opportune time for you to obtain EVERYTHING you have ever desired in life. How do you do this ??? It’s really simple.
All you have to do is:
- Figure out what you want.
- Ask for it.
- Work hard and do whatever it takes to get it (within appropriate ethical limits).
That’s it, in a nutshell. Throughout the rest of this book we’re going to talk about three things:
- Figuring out what you want.
- Learning how to ask for it.
- Developing the willingness to do whatever it takes to get what you want and then doing whatever it takes.
It really is that simple.
