100 Most Important Human Traits
Numbers 91 Through 95

This comes from a list of the 100 Most Important Human Traits as printed in the Investor’s Business Daily Newspaper a few year’s back.

After listing each trait, I’m going to define the key words from each trait. Your task is to meditate upon these traits and to embrace them into your life.

91. Spontaneity

Spontaneity – The state or quality of being able to act from natural impulse or tendency; without effort or premeditation; natural and unconstrained; unplanned.

92. Teaching others by example / mentorship

Teaching – The act of imparting knowledge of or skill in; giving instruction in.

Others – Different or distinct from the one mentioned or implied.  Different from one’s self.

Example – A pattern or model, as of something to be imitated or avoided.  An instance serving for illustration; specimen.  An instance illustrating a rule or method.

Mentorship – Acting as one who serves as a wise and trusted counselor, teacher, sponsor or supporter.

93. Thinking beyond the obvious

Thinking – Rational reasoning.  Having a conscious mind, to some extent of reasoning.

Beyond – Outside the understanding, limits, or reach of; superior to; surpassing; more than; in excess of.

Obvious – Easily seen, recognized or understood; open to view or knowledge; evident.

94. Thinking independently

Thinking – Rational reasoning.  Having a conscious mind, to some extent of reasoning.

Independently – Not influenced or controlled by others in matters of opinion, conduct, etc.  Thinking or acting for oneself.  Not influenced by the thought or action of others.

95. Tolerance

Tolerance – A fair, objective, and permissive attitude toward those whose opinions, practices, race, religion, nationality, etc., differ from one’s own; freedom from bigotry.  A fair, objective and permissive attitude toward opinions and practices that differ from one’s own.
