Position Yourself To Be Alive
Alive – full of energy and spirit; lively, having the quality of life; vivid; vibrant
Now that we have defined the word alive, I ask you a simple question. Are you alive?
Considering you are here, right now, reading this entry, you are obviously “alive” in the technical sense of the word, but that’s not what I’m asking. I’m asking are you really alive.
Do you live each day with passion? Do you look forward to each and every day, or are you simply marking time as each day passes? In order to help you answer that question, please refer back to the definition of the word alive contained above.
Are you full or energy and spirit? Are you vivid and vibrant? That my friends, is what it is all about.
In order to be alive, we must be full of energy and spirit. By being full of energy and spirit, it puts us in a position to take follow the 4 procedures of all good AIQers. By being full of energy and spirit, you are placing yourself in a position to have:
- VISION – you recognize details and opportunities others do not see
- ATTRACTION – you attract opportunities others do not attract
- READINESS – You are ready to act upon those opportunities better than others AND
- ACTION – You actually act upon those opportunities in a manner that others do not
That my friends, is what will make you successful.
If you are not full of energy and spirit; if you are not vivid and vibrant, then you will simply go through life as most people do. You will mereby be existing.
Being alive can be a funny thing. We sometimes take it for granted, until our life is threatened. Then, all of a sudden, we realize that we love our life; that we love being alive and we want to keep going.
One of the most “alive” people I’ve ever met is Peggy Chun, an artist from Honolulu, Hawaii. Peggy has amyotrophic lateral schlerosis, often referred to as ALS or Lou Gehrig’s disease. Peggy cannot move any part of her body except for her eyes. Peggy lives at home on a ventilator. She has had ALS for over 5 years and her condition has steadily worsened. Most of us would probably think she lives a terrible existence and has little or no reason to go on live.
Peggy sees it differently. When I recently met with Peggy, she communicated to me, through her trained assistant tracking her eye movements (yes, that’s the only way she can communicate), how much she enjoys her life. She looks forward to spending each and every day with her family. You see, despite that she is trapped inside a body that is steadily deteriorating, Peggy is more alive than most other people.
Those of us who are fortunate enough to still have the use of our bodies, as well as our minds, should appreciate that fact. We should learn to be alive. We should live each day, full of energy and spirit.
Peggy Chun is one of the persons who wil be featured in my upcoming book:
50 Stories Of Powerful People
Who Positioned Themselves To The Top
Popularity: 8% [?]
Until next time, take care.

Now I define luck is always what we train ourself to use the opportunity created every day around us, besides opportunities are created due to our movement. Please wait!!!! Let me join in this party after some time
